We came here as a group of 6 business visitors, wishing to enjoy typical Bavarian cuisine, and down a few Paulaner beers. Yes, there is a Paulaner Br?ustubli on the ground floor! They also brew their own beer behind the stage - probably a pilsner style - didnt try it, though comments passed by colleagues, seemed to confirm it's quality according to the centuries old "Reinheitsgebot". We all chose something traditional to eat from a fairly comprehensive menu....you will find Schweins Haxe grilled or boiled with Sauerkraut and potatoes, Geschnezeltes with R?sti, various soups, etc. The prices are very moderate for this type of establishment, but expect to pay 58RMB for a 0.5L bottle of "Hefe Weizen".The live music show put on by the Philipino band just didnt fit into this atmosphere. Their musical repertoir can be considered very mediocre, particularly when compared with western style establishments in Hainan Park.Well watered, and fed, we all left this establishment in the wee hours of Monday morning. On Monday evening, I was sick as were two other colleagues, one of them badly...Flights home had to be changed for them, and I? Well, I'm still recuperating from the food poisoning!!!
